Questions
If yours is not here, ask us — a person answers.
For businesses
Does it cost anything to search or contact creators?
No. Searching, saving, shortlisting and contacting creators are free while we build coverage in Ireland. Paid team plans will come later, and anything you build now stays yours.
Do you take a commission?
No. You agree terms directly with the creator and pay them directly. Influoza is not part of the transaction, which means we have no incentive to sit in the middle of it.
How reliable are the follower numbers?
It depends on the profile, and each one tells you. Every figure carries a source label — provided by the creator, collected by us, read from the platform, or estimated — along with when it was collected. Use that to decide how much weight to give it.
Can I share a shortlist with a client?
Yes. Turn sharing on and you get a link anyone can open without an account. Turning sharing off issues a new link, so anything you sent before stops working.
Why did a creator not reply?
Usually because the enquiry was too vague or had no budget in it. Creators who reply reliably rank higher on Influoza, so it is in everyone’s interest — but the fastest fix is a specific brief with a number in it.
For creators
Is it free to be listed?
Yes, entirely. There is no paid tier for creators, no commission, and no charge for verification.
A profile about me already exists. Why?
Some profiles are built by Influoza from information the creator has already published. They are marked unclaimed, every figure is labelled as unconfirmed, and they are kept out of search-engine results until claimed. You can take it over or have it removed — both free, and neither requires a reason.
How do I get the verified badge?
Apply from your dashboard. We confirm you control the accounts on your profile, usually by messaging one of them from ours. It cannot be bought and there is no automatic route.
Do I have to show my rates?
No. You can enter them and keep them private, and your profile will say “rates on request”. Showing them tends to mean fewer but more serious enquiries.
Do I have to be in Ireland?
No. Creators join from anywhere and the profile works identically wherever you are, including quoting your rates in your own currency. Demand is another matter: most businesses searching Influoza today are Irish, so creators outside Ireland should expect fewer enquiries until that changes.
Will my email address be public?
Never. Enquiries arrive through Influoza, and the address you nominate for them is not shown on your profile.
